[제조/재무] CFO
A specialty chemical manufacturing company is looking for a CFO. The chosen applicant will be responsible for leading the company's financial strategy, accounting, tax, planning, investor relations, and corporate governance functions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial, accounting, and tax operations in compliance with Group and local accounting standards and legal requirements to minimise financial and legal risks
- Lead the budgeting process, develop financial forecasts, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to support strategic planning and business decisions
- Collaborate with the CEO, executive leadership, and business units to align financial strategies with organisational objectives
- Communicate financial performance, strategic plans, and business progress to the Board of Directors, investors, employees, and other key stakeholders
- Identify financial and strategic risks, develop contingency plans, and balance risk with business growth objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors by providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations
- Oversee the organisation of Board of Directors' meetings, annual shareholders' meetings, and ensure compliance with Korea Exchange (KRX) listing and corporate governance requirements
- Lead investor relations activities, including earnings releases, financial reporting, investor meetings, roadshows, capital market events, analyst relations, shareholder engagement, and regulatory disclosures
- Act as the primary financial interface with the majority shareholder, ensuring transparent, accurate, and timely Group reporting, coordinating budgets, forecasts, and cross-functional projects with finance, legal, and IT teams
- Ensure external financial communications comply with governance, listing, and disclosure requirements while safeguarding the interests of all shareholders, including minority shareholders
Requirements:
- MBA or other relevant graduate degrees in business, economics, finance, management, or a related field is preferred
- More than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and auditing in the industry of management consulting, manufacturing, or related fields
- Experience in a leadership role, demonstrating the ability to manage and inspire a team, drive change, and achieve strategic objectives
- Strong understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, and resource allocation, with the ability to link financial results to strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making based on data-driven insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex strategies to diverse stakeholders
- Ability to translate financial data into compelling market insights for investors
- Fluent level Korean and English
Preferred Requirements:
- CPA or AICPA certification
