[에너지/법률] In-House Counsel

An In-House Counsel role is now open in a renewable energy company. The chosen applicant will be responsible for providing legal support across all aspects of the company's operations, including project development, construction, and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all day-to-day legal matters for the company and its Korea project companies
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including NDAs, consultancy agreements, stock purchase agreements, EPC contracts, project finance agreements, and joint venture agreements, working with external counsel where appropriate
• Provide timely legal support to business development activities
• Support the securing of permits and licenses required for the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise local and regional management on their potential impact, risks, constraints, and opportunities
• Support the management of legal matters throughout the development, construction, and operations phases, including establishing the Company's safety processes in compliance with Korean law
• Provide legal advice on compliance and due diligence matters
• Support the management of relationships with central and local government authorities, communities, and other key stakeholders
• Represent the Company in meetings with regulators, landowner groups, and project stakeholders
• Work closely with the Company's external counsel and members of the Korean development team to provide legal support
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner that reflects the Company's core values

Requirements:

• Law school graduate (Juris Doctor) from a common law-based country
• Member of the Koran Bar Association
• 3-7 years of legal service experience
• Legal drafting and negotiation
• Legal due diligence
• Good communication and negotiation skills
