[리테일/마케팅] Brand Manager
A global consumer products company is looking for a Brand Manager. The chosen candidate will be in charge of leading brand strategy and execution using consumer insights and global alignment to drive localised marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand the Korean consumer, the Korean home, and the Korean market
- Be involved and embedded in consumer insights and research studies to inform consumer messaging
- Develop a consumer communications strategy for the company brand in the South Korean market and then execute it, including media planning and buying, consumer promotions, public relations, and digital/social
- Define local creative asset needs and then work with the Global creative department to develop them on time
- Work closely with the global marketing departments (US, and APAC) to leverage best practices and global strategies, while also ensuring appropriate localisation is done for the Korean market
- Develop and execute an integrated brand activation strategy for consumers and on/offline retailers in close partnership with all key cross-functional partners
- Provide overall marketing support to trade marketing and sales teams
- Work closely with the South Korean distributor to ensure marketing and sales strategies are aligned, especially on asset needs for trade marketing and in-store displays
- Plan annual marketing budget to achieve the desired brand performance and monitor and control marketing budget to ensure compliance with company objectives and optimise spending for effective utilisation of the investments
- Drive execution of marketing strategies for the responsible portfolio to meet P&L and market share goals
- Support in delivering the Annual Business Plan that helps the business establish clear strategies and growth plans
- Support overall brand category expansion from new products and GTM
- Oversee 3rd party agency relationship and work closely with them to strategically maximise their performance to drive consistent business results
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- More than 5 years of experience in Brand Marketing (home electronic appliances and FMCG is preferred)
- Strong knowledge for on/offline, brand marketing and media management
- Analytical skills and marketing executional fundamentals
- Strong knowledge in strategic marketing planning, branding and product messaging for consumer, shopper and professional
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally
- Fluent level written and verbal Korean and English
