[제조/운영관리] Operations General Manager

A global industrial automation firm is looking for an Operations General Manager. The selected applicant will lead the overall performance of the operating division, ensuring alignment with regional and corporate objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead effective and profitable management of the operating division, ensuring alignment with Asia Pacific and corporate objectives
• Contribute to the formulation of corporate strategies, policies, and operating plans in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Managing Director
• Establish, communicate, and achieve business objectives aligned with the company’s strategic plan and annual goals
• Facilitate leadership team decision-making, strategic planning, and complex problem-solving
• Oversee integrated planning across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Materials to meet customer requirements and maximise utilisation of resources
• Ensure all manufactured products meet or exceed customer quality expectations
• Lead capacity and resource management across shared company resources
• Ensure products are produced and shipped in accordance with project schedules
• Direct development and execution of departmental budgets to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
• Ensure departmental activities are conducted at minimum cost while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Demonstrate strong financial acumen, including P&L awareness and balance sheet understanding
• Provide strong, visible leadership for both salaried and hourly employees
• Develop and strengthen the management team by setting goals and holding leaders accountable for results
• Promote a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Ensure a safe, injury-free workplace and compliance with health and safety standards
• Ensure adherence to ISO guidelines and maintain required certifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in the automotive or automation/robotics industry
• More than 5 years of proactive leadership experience at a senior, company-wide management level
• Extensive manufacturing and operations management experience
• Experience working effectively in a matrix organisation
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and balance sheet knowledge
• Proven ability to analyse complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Demonstrated leadership ability with the capacity to clearly articulate vision, objectives, and expectations across all levels of the organisation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent level English
