[리테일/영업] Head of Retail
A Head of Retail role is now open in a global consumer products company. The selected applicant will be responsible for leading and driving sales performance across multiple channels, including retail, TVHS, and pure player platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies across retail, TVHS, and Pure Player channels
- Identify channel growth opportunities and drive distribution expansion
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform channel strategies
- Ensure channel execution aligns with the company’s overall commercial strategy
- Set up, lead, mentor, and motivate a team of National Account Managers to achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development within the sales team
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback
- Build and maintain strong JBP relationships with key retail partners and TVHS operators
- Lead commercial negotiations and annual trading agreements
- Develop joint business plans with key customers
- Identify opportunities to expand distribution and category presence
- Coordinate closely with external Service Provider sales teams supporting retail execution
- Align Service Provider field sales activities with commercial priorities
- Provide direction and performance expectations for retail execution
- Monitor in-store execution quality and retail performance
- Ensure strong collaboration between internal KAM teams and partner sales organisations
- Manage both internal commercial teams and extended partner sales organisations
- Track and analyse sales performance across channels
- Use data and insights to identify growth opportunities and performance improvements
- Ensure high standards of retail execution across all channels
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in business, marketing or a related field (MBA is preferred)
- More than 12 years of experience in senior sales roles
- More than 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong experience managing Korean offline retail channels and TV Home Shopping platforms
- Deep understanding of Korea’s retail ecosystem
- Proven ability to lead complex multi-channel commercial operations
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience from the consumer goods or home appliances industries
