A global luxury brand is searching for a Merchandising Director. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing merchandising strategies that align with regional and global objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead optimised product assortment and inventory level by store typology in collaboration with partnering global and regional functions
  • Deliver Retail communications on new product launches and major merchandising initiatives
  • Analyse market and competitors’ pricing positioning and share local insights with the global team
  • Project accurate product sales plans by category by channels
  • Prepare the product sales plan by category and by key collections for Retail, E-Commerce and Retail Partners for the yearly budget
  • Provide the sales forecast of the newness
  • Manage Creative Visual Merchandising, ensuring consistent in-store product presentation by implementing CVM standards aligned with the global strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • More than 15 years of working experience
  • More than 2 years of experience in a senior managerial role
  • Strong merchandising knowledge, planning, and analysing skills
  • Work experience in a global luxury organisation is preferred
  • Jewellery & Watch industry experience is advantageous
  • Solid knowledge base on gemstones, jewellery and timepieces is desirable
  • Possess a GIA Certification is a plus
  • Fluent level Korean and English
