An international investment company is looking for a Paralegal. The qualified applicant will manage databases, keep company information updated, and assist with various corporate governance matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the legal team in day-to-day operations, including proofreading, filing, updating, and managing documents
  • Manage the database, including keeping and updating company information
  • Working closely with the Global Legal or CoSec team on various corporate governance matters
  • Assist with drafting, execution and upkeep of corporate secretarial documents
  • Assist with compliance and regulatory matters and maintain good record-keeping practice
  • Liaising with an in-house finance team and external counsel in relation to invoices and payment of legal fees
  • Conducting legal research, including keeping legal and regulatory updates of any material amendments to relevant legislation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Prior experience in corporate secretarial or paralegal functions (law
    firms or the legal/compliance team of a corporation is preferred)
  • General understanding of corporate and commercial laws is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with teams
  • Fluent level written and verbal Korean and English
