[리테일/법률] Legal & Compliance Officer

A global sports retailer is looking for a Legal & Compliance Officer. The selected candidate will manage legal risks, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee corporate governance, and support contract negotiations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance via an external law firm on all business and commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and minimising legal risks
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate legal risks across all business operations
• Oversee the company’s legal affairs and ensure robust governance practices
• Lead and manage cross-functional legal projects, including sustainability compliance programs and legal audits
• Drive a strong ethics and compliance culture across the company and ensure adherence to all internal policies and external regulations
• Ensure company-wide compliance with data protection laws and manage related risks, particularly in digital and customer data environments
• Ensure compliance with advertising regulations and fair trade practices, particularly around marketing campaigns and commercial communication
• Lead complex contract negotiations via an external law firm with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

• Graduated from the Faculty of Law or equivalent
• More than 3 years of work experience
• Relevant work experience in a foreign-affiliated company is preferred
• Native level Korean; business level English
