[제조/식품개발] R&D Manager

An international food manufacturer is searching for an R&D Manager. The chosen applicant will oversee the end-to-end process of bringing new concepts to market, from initial formulation through plant trials and launch.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the NPD team, including task allocation, mentoring, and performance evaluation
• Oversee the development of product formulas and sample preparations based on customer briefs
• Coordinate and participate in trial productions at the plant
• Develop ice cream and syrup-based products in line with customer expectations
• Review and approve product specifications, manufacturing reports, and nutritional
  information
• Validate technical feasibility of new ingredients and production processes
• Respond to customer technical inquiries and manage document support for launches
• Collaborate with internal departments (Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement) to ensure smooth project execution
• Report project status and technical issues to senior management and headquarters
• Plan and manage project timelines, budgets, and sample cost allocations
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards (HACCP, labelling)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Food Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge and experience in fruit jam, syrup, or ice cream development
• Basic understanding of food law and safety regulations (HACCP)
• Certified food technician is preferred
• Possess a valid driver's licence
• Fluent level Korean and English
