[제조/엔지니어] Sr. Field Application Engineer

An international material science company is looking for a Sr. Field Application Engineer. The chosen applicant will act as a technical bridge between customers, external partners, and internal teams to support electrochemical applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work with external technology teams across electrochemical applications to understand technical needs and match them with company capabilities
• Facilitate technical interactions between external and internal teams through a deep understanding of proton exchange membranes for fuel cells and water electrolysis systems
• Influence system specifications that provide a competitive advantage for company performance and capabilities
• Cultivate in-depth market and application understanding of electrochemical applications
• Understand customer needs and collaborate with the global team to fulfil them using internal capabilities
• Participate in new product development, commercialisation, and market introduction projects
• Educate sales & marketing teams and customers on product performance, applications, and installation
• Support customer validation activities to ensure Fit-For-Use and customer requirements are met

Requirements:

• PhD or Master's degree in materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, polymer, or chemistry
• More than 5 years of battery or other electrochemical system experience
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to interface with leading research scientists
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Competence in project management
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify unmet technical needs and progress from idea to product match
• Ability and willingness to travel
