A foreign pharmaceutical research company is looking for a Government Affairs Lead. The chosen candidate will develop and execute strategies to influence public policy, expand patient access to medical innovations, and support business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute government affairs strategies aligned with company goals to expand and accelerate patient access to medical innovations
  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials and industry associations
  • Monitor and analyse public policy trends and regulatory changes to inform business decisions
  • Drive policy initiatives and help set the industry agenda through trade associations
  • Support the General Manager and Public Affairs team on key policy issues
  • Apply “Integrity in Action” to all initiatives and promote a strong culture of ethics and compliance
  • Address potential non-compliance issues
  • Ensure strategies deliver measurable business impact and build stakeholder trust

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public affairs, political science, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in Government Affairs within the pharmaceutical sector, public sector, or healthcare-related institutions
  • Experience in setting KPIs, tracking performance via dashboards, etc.
  • Strong strategic thinking and outcome-oriented mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex
    concepts clearly and persuasively
