[화학/재무회계] Senior Accountant

A Senior Accountant role is now open in a foreign chemical company. The selected applicant will oversee the company’s financial and accounting operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all accounting and financial activities comply with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements and maintain full sets of books and records
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly annual management reports, statutory accounts, and serve as the main contact for external auditors
  • Monitor bank balances, manage surplus funds and ensure treasury transactions comply with forex laws and regulations
  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of new customers, recommend credit limits and monitor payments to ensure compliance
  • Review inventory reports, ensure physical book inventory reconciliation and perform SWAP transaction closing with HK
  • Ensure business processes comply with SOX requirements and participate in all SOX testing cycles
  • Ensure full compliance with local tax reporting and payments, and act as the main contact with tax offices and external consultants
  • Proactively review and improve the efficiency of existing business processes and assist in establishing new ones

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, or related discipline
  • Experience in computerised accounting, ERP system
  • MNC working experience with import or export activities
  • Knowledge in handling tax and tariff aspects for import or export business activities
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange control regulations and processes for inward and outward remittances
  • Knowledge of SOX and internal audit
  • Possess a valid professional accounting qualification
  • Fluent level English and Korean
