Technical Sales Manager - Battery
A global nanotechnology company is searching for a Technical Sales Manager- Battery. The chosen applicant will be driving sales of Li-ion battery products by expanding the customer base, meeting targets, and supporting customers through testing, validation, and commercialisation.
Responsibilities:
- Increase sales of the company’s product portfolio in the Li-ion battery industry
- Expand the customer base within the assigned territory
- Meet individually assigned quarterly and annual sales targets
- Participate in the planning and execution of the SWCNT-based product localisation strategy
- Support customers during testing stages for new product introduction
- Develop an in-depth understanding of products, technology, processes, and applications across various sectors to identify client challenges and support product trials leading to commercial deployment
- Support customers during validation stages, including audits and quality management processes
- Develop and promote the company’s brand in the Li-ion battery industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Engineering or Material Science
- More than 10 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or product development in the following applications and industries: Li-Ion Batteries and their upstream supply chain (Active materials, separators, electrolytes, binders, etc.), other conductive additives for Li-ion batteries (Carbon Black, carbon fibers, MWCNT)
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers at all levels
- Native level Korean; advanced level English
