[제조/SCM] Planner/Buyer

A global technology company is looking for a Planner/Buyer. The chosen candidate will be in charge of production planning, material coordination, scheduling, and purchasing activities to ensure efficient production operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on forecasts and sales orders
  • Optimise production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources, including labour, machinery, and materials
  • Adjust production plans as needed to accommodate changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or machine downtime
  • Partner closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule shipments and manage lead times
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on production and material status, delays, or changes
  • Monitor and analyse KPI metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
  • Generate regular reports on production efficiency, resource utilisation, and output levels
  • Utilise data to recommend and implement process improvements that enhance productivity
  • Develop and maintain Create Excimer WIP jobs (Standard job/Non-standard job) based on the production plan and manager's direction
  • Transact resources or materials when requested on a daily basis
  • Perform various transactions on Oracle
  • Review the material and value status of WIP jobs and close completed ones, working with Finance
  • Apply purchasing practices to internal and external suppliers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or business-related field
  • More than 3 years of experience as a production planner and buyer
  • Proficient in Oracle Fusion
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Proficient in Korean and English

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
