An international marine lubricant company is looking for a Customer Service Officer. The chosen applicant will be in charge of managing customer inquiries, orders, deliveries, and account follow-ups to ensure smooth service and positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend to inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, delivery surcharges, and lead time
  • Work with Sales to understand and execute pricing, supply, and payment terms for each account
  • Manage the order-to-delivery process to ensure smooth delivery, including coordination with customers, Sales, the global supply team, and local delivery agents
  • Fulfil delivery requirements for orders, cope with changes in delivery requirements, and provide professional advice regarding local geographical conditions and supply limitations
  • Carry out order follow-up activities, including submission of delivery notes for invoicing, and chasing and monitoring outstanding payments
  • Maintain continuous and positive rapport with customers and monitor account performance and changes in assigned accounts
  • Participate in maintaining and improving the organisation's quality and environmental management systems, processes, and compliance obligations
  • Understand the organisation's significant environmental aspects and related actual or potential environmental impacts associated with the work

Requirements:

  • Diploma level or above (supply chain, trade, business or sales and marketing are preferred)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Skilled in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Excellent interaction capabilities and a proactive communicator
  • Native level Korean; proficient in written and verbal English

Preferred Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience in sales support, supply chain, or customer service
  • Exposure to the marine, ship management, petrochemical or logistics/forwarding industry
  • Experience in order management or import/export documentation
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)
  • Proficient in Chinese or Japanese
