An international TIC company is looking for a Regional Officer Legal & Compliance (APAC). The chosen applicant will support legal and compliance activities across the APAC region, ensuring effective governance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Legal & Compliance business partner for stakeholders across the APAC region
  • Provide practical legal advice and commercially focused compliance guidance to support business operations
  • Drive the implementation of regional and global Legal & Compliance initiatives
  • Coordinate with international Legal & Compliance teams to ensure consistent governance standards across the region
  • Review, develop and enhance policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Support investigations, risk assessments and other sensitive legal and compliance matters as required
  • Monitor regional compliance initiatives and recommend continuous process improvements
  • Lead or participate in regional Legal &Compliance projects and awareness programs
  • Coach, support and collaborate with Legal & Compliance colleagues across multiple countries
  • Build strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to the business

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer or equivalent legal qualification
  • More than 10 years of post-qualification Legal & Compliance experience
  • Experience providing practical legal support directly to business stakeholders
  • Regional or cross-border experience covering multiple jurisdictions
  • Demonstrated expertise across both Legal and Compliance functions
  • Background within multinational or international organisations
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal English

Preferred Requirements:

  • Additional qualifications such as an LL.M., Master's degree, or professional compliance certification
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering, certification, testing, inspection or other regulated industries
  • Experience with investigations, governance, compliance training or policy implementation
  • Project management or regional leadership experience
  • Exposure to multiple APAC markets
  • Proficient in Korean
