[리테일/법률] Legal and Compliance Specialist

A foreign sports retailer is looking for a Legal and Compliance Specialist. The chosen candidate will support legal, compliance, and governance functions by managing legal risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting ethical business practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance via an external law firm on all business and commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and minimising legal risks
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate legal risks across all business operations
• Oversee the company’s legal affairs and support robust corporate governance practices
• Lead and manage cross-functional legal projects, including sustainability compliance programs and legal audits
• Drive a strong ethics and compliance culture across the company and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations
• Together with the Digital team, ensure company-wide compliance with data protection laws and manage related risks, particularly in digital and customer data environments
• Ensure compliance with advertising regulations and fair-trade practices, particularly around marketing campaigns and commercial communication
• Lead complex contract negotiations via an external law firm with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
• Support the implementation of internal policies and conduct regular training programs related to industrial safety and crisis management

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience OR Graduated from the Faculty of Law
• Native level Korean; business level English

Preferred Requirements:

• Relevant work experience in a foreign-affiliated company
