A foreign sports retailer is searching for a Legal and Compliance Lead. The selected applicant will lead legal and compliance activities by managing legal risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business operations with strategic legal guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor legal risks and business challenges to safeguard the company’s value
  • Analyse legislation and case law, recommend policy updates, and share relevant legal developments with stakeholders
  • Provide proactive legal solutions to mitigate risks and support business opportunities
  • Negotiate favourable legal terms and conditions for company projects
  • Support revenue growth, cash flow improvement, and cost reduction through legal advice and documentation
  • Represent the company before courts and regulatory bodies, including pre-litigation and administrative matters
  • Implement compliance frameworks, including anti-corruption, data protection, and sustainability due diligence initiatives
  • Utilise digital tools, AI, and specialised software to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on legal technology and process improvements
  • Deliver high-quality and timely legal support to internal stakeholders
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle process through Dilitrust CLM in alignment with company policies and approval workflows
  • Communicate complex legal concepts clearly using legal design principles
  • Conduct legal awareness training and support teams in handling basic legal matters independently
  • Gather stakeholder feedback and continuously improve legal service quality
  • Share legal knowledge and best practices across local and international legal communities
  • Lead and contribute to collective legal and compliance projects
  • Mentor and support teammates through knowledge sharing and guidance
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external professional networks to support collaboration and benchmark best practices

Requirements:

  • Relevant legal experience
  • Experience in enhancing legal efficiency using digital tools such as CLM and AI technologies
  • Deep understanding of the Retail industry
  • Ability to review and negotiate international contracts
  • Fluent level English
