[제조/엔지니어] Optical Solutions Developer

A global technology company is looking for an Optical Solutions Developer. The selected applicant will be responsible for developing unique and differentiated optical solutions based on customer requirements, market trends, and technical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Apply expert-level knowledge of optics, including geometric optics, wave optics, optical design, and other relevant optical principles, to solution development activities
• Develop unique and differentiated optical solutions based on market trends, customer pain points, and technical requirements
• Translate customer and application requirements into optical concepts, technical specifications, and practical development plans
• Build and validate proof of concept (PoC) solutions as the technical expert responsible for optical feasibility
• Use optical analysis and simple simulation methods to support design decisions and concept verification
• Anticipate technical risks associated with proposed solutions and prepare appropriate mitigation approaches
• Identify, structure, and summarise technical issues arising during solution development
• Share technical findings, risks, decisions, and open issues with relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
• Maintain technical clarity and traceability throughout concept development and validation
• Collaborate closely with international engineering teams and colleagues in other countries to execute custom projects
• Contribute effectively in multicultural project environments through clear communication, teamwork, and technical alignment
• Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure optical concepts address customer needs and application requirements

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above in Optics, Physics, or a closely related field
• More than five years of experience in a company, laboratory, or academic environment related to optics
• Strong understanding of lenses and optical systems associated with computer vision
• Ability to perform basic optical simulation and apply the results to engineering decisions
• Strong cross-cultural communication and teamwork skills, with an interest in collaborative work
• Business level English

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience or understanding of machine vision and semiconductor applications
