[IT/엔지니어] Senior Quantum Field Engineer

A global technology company is looking for a Senior Quantum Field Engineer. The selected applicant will drive customer-facing technical engagement and translate business needs into quantum computing solutions and proof-of-concept implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead customer-facing technical discussions, demos and discovery sessions, explaining the company’s strategy, portfolio and quantum applications across compute, networking, security, sensing and space
• Translate client business needs into technical projects, working with the company’s Applications team to map quantum algorithms into application code and execute proof-of-concepts
• Guide customer conversations from early ideation through focused technical exploration, proof-of-concept development and potential production workflows
• Share market and customer insights with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Developer Relations and Business Development teams, while supporting conferences, events and awareness-building activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or another relevant STEM field
• More than 5 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, such as field engineering, solutions architecture, technical sales, customer engineering, applied science or a similar capacity
• Experience with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Qiskit, Cirq or other quantum computing SDKs, ideally alongside broader architecture skills and experience leading technical customer events
• Strong interest in quantum computing, with the motivation to keep learning
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to customers and stakeholders

Preferred Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in a STEM field (adjacent to quantum computing is ideal)
• Experience working on the customer side in relevant industries or verticals, giving strong customer empathy and business context
• Hands-on experience helping customers move from technical exploration into applied proof-of-concept or production workflows
• Strong executive presence, commercial awareness and the ability to represent the company at client meetings, industry events and conferences
