[제약/엔지니어] Equipment Engineer

A global life science company is looking for an Equipment Engineer. The chosen applicant will be responsible for leading system-level equipment design and integration from concept through manufacturing release.

Responsibilities:

• Define system requirements and establish equipment architecture aligned with customer specifications and engineering standards
• Lead conceptual design and translate ambiguous requirements into scalable system-level engineering solutions
• Drive system design and integration across mechanical, fluid delivery, and control domains
• Lead the full equipment design lifecycle from concept, detailed design, prototyping, validation, to manufacturing release
• Perform and guide engineering analysis including structural, thermal, flow, and tolerance analysis, and ensure system performance through validation
• Define and implement best engineering practices to ensure system reliability, maintainability, and performance
• Develop and review engineering deliverables including design documents, CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing packages
• Ensure compliance with global standards and safety requirements such as SEMI, NFPA, and Ex-proof
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Controls, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial to ensure successful system integration
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and drive system-level improvements for performance, reliability, and cost optimisation
• Manage engineering change processes (ECR/ECO) and maintain lifecycle documentation
• Support customer technical engagement and resolve complex system engineering challenges
• Drive product standardisation, modular architecture, and platform development
• Define technical direction and contribute to product roadmap and innovation strategy
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, design reviews, and system architecture guidance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical, chemical, electrical engineering, or related fields
• More than 5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment design or complex high-tech equipment development
• Strong communication skills in a global engineering environment
• Proven experience in system or subsystem-level design (beyond component-level design)
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams
• Strong experience in 3D CAD design and engineering documentation
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals (mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermal systems, system integration)
• Strong problem-solving capability including root cause analysis and engineering troubleshooting
