A global packaging company is searching for an HR Generalist. The chosen applicant will support HR and Payroll operations by managing payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and employee support while ensuring compliance and efficient HR processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll function and ensure efficient and accurate processing and reporting of the monthly payroll
  • Process leave and accrual requirements and reconcile payroll when necessary
  • Provide support and respond to employee queries relating to pay, leave entitlements, and adjustments
  • Control payroll deductions, reconciliations, and monetary returns
  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection activities, including preparing and posting job advertisements
  • Manage job descriptions, pre-screen applicants, and shortlist candidates from a high volume of resumes
  • Coordinate the interview process with hiring managers and candidates and assist in the interviewing process
  • Liaise with department managers and candidates regarding recruitment status updates
  • Manage onboarding and induction processes and provide input on best practice options
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating required compliance training and ensure records are completed
  • Coordinate the organisation’s Culture Survey and Employee Pulse Surveys as required
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve HR systems, processes, and services
  • Provide support and advice across the business in relation to Health and Wellness initiatives
  • Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs and manage employment contract documentation, including preparation, renewal tracking, and secure recordkeeping
  • Manage and process employee-related expense claims, including travel, training, and other reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and payroll processes

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or Administration
  • More than 2 years of prior experience
  • Previous experience working in an HR team
  • Knowledge of local employment and tax laws (relevant to payroll)
  • Technically savvy with a strength and passion for simplifying and automating tasks and processes
