[IT/사업개발] Head of Business Development
A technology company is looking for a Head of Business Development. The chosen applicant will lead business development by driving strategic partnerships, commercial agreements, and cross-functional execution to support market growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead data partnerships from initial conversations to signed agreements and live execution
- Own deal structuring, negotiation, and closing across both supply-side and demand-side partners
- Build partnerships with companies and institutions that provide proprietary data
- Develop relationships with enterprises, pharmaceutical companies, and AI labs seeking data solutions
- Deepen relationships with Korea's leading consumer and technology platforms
- Expand partnerships with major Korean conglomerates
- Build on existing leadership-level relationships to generate new business opportunities
- Translate the company's product and technical vision into commercial deal terms
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to shape solutions for the Korean market
- Drive the company's market presence and business growth in Korea
- Partner on PR, positioning, and messaging for local media, partners, and investors
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across legal, product, engineering, and global leadership teams
- Align stakeholders across multiple functions and time zones
- Oversee the transition of signed agreements into operational execution
- Ensure successful delivery of strategic partnership initiatives
- Support the company's long-term growth strategy in the Korean market
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, corporate development, or a comparable deal-driven role
- Startup experience
- Bilingual level Korean and English
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in data, IP, healthcare, or frontier technology markets
- Management consulting background, or comparable training in structured problem solving
- Existing network across the Korean startup, enterprise, or investor landscape
