A global music entertainment company is looking for an FP&A Manager. The chosen applicant will oversee financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and reporting for the Korea market, providing insights to support business decisions and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead detailed financial analysis of business performance for the Korea market, including revenue, costs, and key financial metrics
• Prepare and deliver performance reports and dashboards, providing concise analysis of key drivers and variances to support management decision-making
• Monitor and track KPIs and market trends to generate actionable insights and identify performance improvement opportunities
• Streamline and improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning assumptions
• Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes through operational and financial analysis
• Assemble and summarise data, and provide operational efficiency and profitability assessments
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data
• Align analysis and requirements with regional and global finance teams for monthly submissions, including template updates and revisions to business assumptions
• Drive monthly financial variance reporting following month-end close, summarising overall performance compared to the latest Forecast, Budget, and Prior Year
• Analyse and explain key variance drivers across the P&L, including revenue, costs, headcount movements, and material revenue fluctuations
• Deliver detailed expense reports on Marketing, A&R, and T&E spend by team, enabling effective budget management with business teams
• Take the initiative in supporting and delivering finance-related projects
• Support projects involving data research and analysis, variance investigation, and data verification from different financial and operational information systems
• Support operational improvement, report and template development, coordination and follow-ups, and meeting facilitation
• Provide project support and asset analysis through commercial and financial assessments, valuation and financial modelling, industry research, and market studies
• Identify key issues and risks, and communicate the implications of investments to the finance team
• Build collaborative relationships with regional and central teams to support business efficiency and execution

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
• More than 8 years of experience in Finance
• More than 5 years of hands-on FP&A experience (a dynamic multinational organisation is preferred)
• Advanced level MS Excel and general system proficiency
• Strong analytical skills
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
• Proficient in written and verbal Korean and English
