A global software company is searching for a Commercial Account Executive. The chosen applicant will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new commercial customers, expanding existing accounts, and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive top-line revenue growth by acquiring new commercial customers and developing innovative strategies for account expansion
  • Manage and nurture customer relationships to ensure maximum satisfaction, retention, and long-term strategic partnerships
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers to optimise account revenue and profitability
  • Leverage data insights, customer intent, and adoption history to prospect new clients and enhance retention strategies
  • Understand and communicate the benefits of company products while aligning solutions with customers’ business objectives
  • Lead complex and competitive sales cycles using strong communication and value-selling skills to present compelling business cases
  • Develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and maintain accurate forecasts to exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Establish and maintain executive sponsorship by building relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve sales strategies and streamline sales execution
  • Exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals by leveraging weekly and monthly KPIs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • More than 3 years of B2B sales or solution engineering experience (SaaS industry with a proven record of exceeding sales targets is preferred)
  • Experience in managing and expanding customer relationships at various levels
  • Experience selling to VP and C-level executives, both in person and using remote technology
  • Experience creating and leveraging territory and account plans
  • Expertise in navigating complex sales cycles and renewals, including multi-month, value- centric processes with proof-of-concept stages
  • Familiarity with key Sales tools such as Salesforce and Clari
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends and the ability to build relationships with key decision makers
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and deal-closing skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel
