[리테일/재무] Finance Manager

A retail company is searching for a Finance Manager. The chosen applicant will be overseeing finance operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and maintaining financial accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations in the finance department
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant financial regulations, maintaining global accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of month-end tasks performed by the Global Business Service team
• Oversee and ensure accuracy of financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
• Collaborate with other departments to provide accurate and timely financial information
• Supervise preparation of consolidated financial statements for management and external stakeholders (IFRS)
• Supervise the calculation of taxable income and income tax liabilities of the organisation
• Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
• Lead, supervise, and develop accounting staff through guidance, training, and performance feedback

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant disciplines or
• 10-20 years in financial management and accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (SAP and Coupa)
• Advanced level MS Excel
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
• General business knowledge
• Business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Prior supervisory or audit experience
• Proven retail experience or multinational corporation
• CPA designation
• Proficient in Japanese
