[법률/재무회계] Accountant

An Accountant position is now open in an international law firm. The qualified applicant will be in charge of acting as the first point of contact for all finance-related matters.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for month-end closing and review of financial accounts to ensure proper recording of expenses
• Handle payroll preparation, including liaising with payroll provider
• Maintain cash flow, manage payments and corporate card
• Maintain local statutory accounts for tax filing purposes
• Assist in all tax matters, including handling all tax payments, annual and monthly tax filings, and queries
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgeting and forecasting
• Assist in the analysis of financial results, including the preparation of reports and presentations
• Handle projects, queries, and analysis

Requirements:

• More than 6 years of experience in a financial accounting role in the service industry
• Experience in tax filings (VAT, individual income tax withholding, and corporate income tax)
• Experience in payroll preparation
• Strong understanding of Korean accounting standards (Korean GAAP)
• Law firm experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of MS Excel
• Proficient in written and verbal English
