An American manufacture of advances chemicals is searching for a Technical Services Representative for a position in Seoul. The Technical Services Representative will support business growth in Japan and Korea by understanding customer needs and transforming them into new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical projects through effective design of experiments
• Identify new application opportunities and technology projects
• Discover customers’ unmet needs, understand customer requirements, and define material value propositions
• Support processing trials and troubleshooting at customer sites
• Provide training to distributors, customers, sales and marketing staff on products and applications
• Participate in various events to gain insights on market trends and strengthen industry connections

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or MSc Degree in Polymer / Chemistry / Material Science
• Strong background in Plastics / Polymer / Materials technical service and application development (5+ years’ relevant experience)
• Strong customer interface and communication skills
• Strong communication skill with Business partners (marketing & sales)
• Leadership skills in project management, cross-functional teamwork, and cross-regional collaboration
• Fluent in English
