[식음료/영업] Business Development Manager
A Business Development Manager role is now open in a foreign FMCG company. The chosen candidate will drive business growth by developing distributor capabilities, managing trade investments, monitoring market trends, and identifying new opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales capabilities within the distributor organisation, closely managing day-to-day activities and maintaining good working relationships across all functions
- Work closely with the distributor to ensure all invested trade spend money in the market is done in a fair and transparent manner, maximising ROI for the company and strictly adhering to the company's trade philosophy
- Apply finance knowledge to handle and manage P&Ls, Value Chains, and all variables to deliver company and distributor targets
- Monitor market trends, distributor activity plans, and supply chain situation to ensure the agreed level of SOH is achieved without overstock or out-of-stock
- Keep the company HQ informed regularly about all relevant market developments, including distributor performance, competitors, retailers, and local authorities
- Communicate relevant information from the company to the distributor on time to assist in sales and marketing planning activities
- Identify business opportunities and pinpoint problem areas
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience managing distributors and trade partners (food & beverage sector is ideal, with proven commercial exposure across HoReCa and Retail; E-commerce experience is a plus)
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and
external stakeholders - Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Native level Korean; fluent level English
