[리테일/MD] Retail MD Manager

A multinational luxury fashion brand is searching for a Retail MD Manager. The selected applicant will be responsible for leading seasonal buying and merchandising activities, ensuring assortments align with local market needs and global brand direction.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the seasonal buying process for Korea, ensuring assortments align with local market needs and global brand direction
• Develop and manage the Open-To-Buy (OTB) budget to optimize inventory levels and sales performance
• Define the product strategy, including pricing, launch calendars, and distribution plans across retail stores
• Monitor sell-through rates and implement actions such as markdowns, transfers, and re-orders to maximize turnover
• Analyse weekly and monthly sales performance and prepare detailed KPI reports including conversion, ATV, and UPT
• Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify local market opportunities and risks
• Collaborate with store managers and the VM team to ensure effective product presentation and storytelling
• Provide product training to store staff to strengthen product knowledge and selling techniques

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business, fashion merchandising, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in retail merchandising, specifically within the premium or the luxury fashion industry (Ready-To-Wear focus is preferred)
• Advanced level in MS Excel and retail management systems
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with local and global stakeholders
• Proficient in written and verbal English
