[의료기기/전략] Market Access Manager
A Market Access Manager role is now open in a medical device company. The chosen candidate will be in charge of developing and executing market access strategies to drive reimbursement expansion, strengthen value positioning, and ensure optimal patient access.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive Market Access strategies for current and future products
- Lead initiatives to expand reimbursement, improve coverage, and address access barriers within the national insurance and regulatory environment
- Conduct policy, reimbursement, and competitive landscape analysis to identify strategic opportunities and risks
- Build strong value propositions grounded in scientific, clinical, and economic evidence
- Support launch readiness by integrating MA pathways (pricing, reimbursement, policy positioning) into commercial planning
- Identify evidence that needs to support the MA strategy, including clinical benefit, unmet needs, RWE, burden-of-disease insights, practice patterns, and patient outcomes
- Prepare evidence-based dossiers, policy proposals, payer materials, and reimbursement submissions
- Translate evidence into clear, compelling value messages for HIRA, MOHW, academic societies, and clinical stakeholders
- Collaborate with Medical Marketing to gather clinical insights and relevant literature to strengthen value positioning
- Map and prioritise key internal and external stakeholders, including HIRA, MOHW, NHIS, medical societies, KOLs, patient organisations, and health policy influencers
- Develop and execute engagement strategies that support reimbursement expansion and guideline or policy shaping
- Lead value-based conversations and build partnerships to advocate for improved patient access and standard-of-care advancement
- Apply business acumen and entrepreneurial ownership to deliver measurable access outcomes and mitigate risks related to evidence gaps, policy uncertainty, and commercial readiness
- Lead MA alignment and coordination across Marketing, Medical, Sales, Business Support, and Regional/Global MA teams, translating policy and evidence insights into actionable initiatives
- Facilitate cross-functional decision-making, accelerate access projects, resolve barriers, and support organisational education on MA pathways and evidence-driven value communication
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Life Sciences, Public Health, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Economics, or a related field
- More than 7 years of experience in Market Access, Reimbursement, Health Policy, or related roles within medical devices or pharmaceuticals
- Strong experience in reimbursement expansion projects and developing value propositions
- Experience engaging with policymakers, societies, KOLs, and patient organisations
- Proven ability to lead evidence-driven MA strategy and cross-functional execution
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-influence skills
- Strong analytical ability to interpret clinical or economic evidence
- Native level Korean; advanced level English proficiency
