[헬스케어/법률] Legal Counsel (Data Privacy)

A medical technology company is looking for a Legal Counsel (Data Privacy). The chosen applicant will be responsible for leading privacy compliance and managing privacy risks across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead HIPAA, GDPR, and other international privacy compliance programs on a practical, operational level
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Legal, and Product teams to implement privacy by design
• Review, draft, and negotiate privacy-related clauses in contracts, ensuring legal and operational alignment
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and risk analyses for new products, services, and cloud architectures
• Monitor legal updates and translate them into actionable internal policies
• Respond to data subject requests, audits, and incidents efficiently and proactively

Requirements:

• U.S. licensed attorney (J.D. or equivalent) with proven privacy expertise
• Strong understanding of HIPAA, GDPR, and global privacy laws.
• Experience in privacy-related contract review and negotiation
• Fluent written and verbal Korean and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in SaaS, cloud, or tech product environments
• Hands-on experience in privacy audits and remediation planning
• Ability to train teams and translate complex regulations into practical business guidance
