[자동차/법률] Senior Legal Counsel

An automotive company is searching for a Senior Legal Counsel. The selected applicant will be responsible for serving as a trusted advisor and handling business and legal teams. This position is based in Seoul.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee legal issues associated with the daily and long-term operations of the company
• Create and maintain a library of contract templates
• Oversee external counsel and spending
• Act as the main point of contact for legal and compliance matters
• Deliver legal training on key legal and compliance issues
• Give recommendations on local data protection laws

Requirements:

• Law degree or above
• More than 8 years of experience as a lawyer (overseas, law firm, or in-house is ideal)
• Understanding of general legal or commercial issues (financial service, franchising laws, brand and marketing)
• Strong knowledge of competition and consumer laws
• Possess valid legal certifications
• Registered lawyer
• Fluent level Korean and English
