A Legal Counsel position is available at a global luxury fashion company. The qualified individual will be providing legal advice to key partners from project development to deployment. This role is based in Jung-gu.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee staff, clients, and candidate privacy policy
- Offer legal assistance for cybersecurity issues
- Track modifications in privacy laws
- Provide privacy laws and legal risk management counsel to key teams and chief officers
- Assist key teams in all issues that require privacy law counsel
- Facilitate privacy law compliance training for employees
Requirements:
- 5-9 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or both
- Understanding of Korean data privacy laws
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Possess valid lawyer qualification in Korea or an English-speaking jurisdiction
- Experience with Korean data privacy law is ideal
- Proficient in verbal and written Korean and English
