A worldwide battery manufacturing company is looking to fill a Legal Counsel role. The selected applicant will be responsible for performing contract evaluations and negotiations to drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts in English and Korean
- Prepare a variety of documents in English and Korean
- Perform legal research
- Assess marketing materials
- Ensure disputes and litigations are properly handled
- Deploy compliance programs
- Educate employees on corporate guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid licence to practice law in Korea
- 3+ years of legal experience as a lawyer
- Background in contract review and negotiation
- Previous experience as an in-house counsel is ideal
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Business level written and oral English and Korean
