An international investment banking institution is looking for a DCM RM – Executive Director. The selected candidate will lead Korean DCM client coverage, originate and execute bond transactions, and drive revenue growth while ensuring robust risk management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Korean DCM clients
• Deliver tailored DCM funding solutions across markets to meet client needs
• Increase repeat issuance and expand market presence in Korea
• Collaborate with internal IC/FI Relationship Managers and product teams to maximise client coverage
• Originate DCM transactions from Korean issuers
• Lead execution of G3 and KRW bond transactions
• Generate revenue and strengthen the Korea DCM franchise
• Coordinate with global Capital Markets teams to deliver cross-border transactions
• Introduce new funding markets and identify cross-sell opportunities
• Promote risk awareness in transaction structuring and execution
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain robust operational risk controls and conduct root-cause analysis on issues
• Support development and mentoring of junior DCM bankers
• Drive safe and well-controlled business growth with strong risk oversight
• Engage with regulators and industry stakeholders while embedding conduct principles and ethical standards

Requirements:

• Proficient in Bloomberg at an expert level
• Expertise in swap analysis
• Knowledge in local market analysis
• Understanding investor analysis
• Advanced in credit rating advisory
• Proficient in Korean and English
