A global manufacturing organisation is looking to hire a Planning Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the regional inventory strategy and ensure it reaches the company’s stock targets and plant goals.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of reference for new product introduction
- Gain expertise in inventory management tools and use them to optimise stock, inventory, and logistics performance
- Define logistics parameters
- Conduct regular follow-ups on inventory strategy and tool usage
- Provide support to suppliers during shortages or excess stock risks
- Manage planning review meetings with plant teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in supply chain or engineering
- 15+ years of experience working in the planning function at the factory level for the manufacturing industry
- Proven experience leading successful change initiatives and team management
- Strong knowledge of ERP (SAP is a plus)
- Strong understanding of planning tools (Heijunka, Lean, etc.)
- Fluent level English and Korean
