[제조/구매] Purchasing Manager

A global manufacturing company is searching for a Purchasing Manager. The selected applicant will be in charge of managing supplier relationships, optimising purchasing processes, and ensuring alignment with strategic plate purchasing and company goals.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and service the Asian standard price list and distribute it internally
• Manage Asian suppliers' relationship operations and optimise supplier performance
• Develop "Group Approach" with the strategic plate purchasing
• Select suppliers into account of commercial aspects and generate RFQ’s
• Negotiate and agree prices, payment and delivery conditions with plate mills and traders
• Make order decisions in accordance to the sourcing decision regulation
• Harmonise the strategic approach with the strategic plate purchasing
• Continuous enhancement of purchasing processes, including contracts, terms and conditions, legal aspects, and processes
• Generate frequent supplier evaluations covering delivery dates and quality
• Instruct and support the subordinate employees
• Support in the implementation of IMS goals regarding quality, environmental protection, and energy

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in the field of plate purchasing
• Safe mastery of internal processes and knowledge of the processes in plate mills as well as the delivery routes
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Acrobat, PowerPoint, ERP
• Knowledge of the specification of plates and production processes
• Knowledge of international business
• Knowledge of preparation, leading and debriefing of negotiations
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Fluent level Korean and English
  

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficient in Japanese and German
