[리테일/물류] Inbound Specialist (Contract)

An inbound Specialist role is now open in a foreign consumer goods company. The chosen candidate will be in charge of managing end-to-end inbound logistics to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective imports.

Responsibilities:

• Manage import logistics from origin to 3PL warehouse
• Handle import documents, including invoice, packing list, country of origin, health certificate, and B/L
• Monitor and track shipments from the factory to the 3PL warehouse using the inbound template
• Oversee end-to-end inbound processes from source or factory to warehouse arrival and drive process optimisation
• Update purchase and transfer order shipment information through weekly and daily inbound operations
• Send EDI and coordinate communication with factories
• Modify and revise purchase and transfer orders in the ERP system
• Ensure all import procedures and due diligence requirements are properly executed
• Schedule BSE or self-tests with certification authorities and request samples from factories
• Manage documents required for customs clearance
• Execute intercompany invoice closing by period
• Submit timely payment requests for all import-related accounts payable
• Lead and manage 3PL partners, including customs brokers and inland trucking providers
• Review and validate 3PL invoices for accuracy prior to approval
• Lead annual ocean freight tender processes as part of the global GOT framework
• Manage freight-in cost budgeting, track actual costs versus budget, and identify cost-saving initiatives
• Track shipment lead times, carrier performance, and freight-in cost KPIs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (major in Trade/Supply Chain Management is preferred)
• More than 4 years of experience in inbound operations
• Experience in Customs Broker and Forwarder Management
• Knowledge of Incoterms and FTA
• Proficient in written and verbal Korean and English
