[반도체/서비스 총괄] Service Director

A global semiconductor equipment company is seeking a Service Director. The chosen candidate will lead the global account service organisation, ensuring world-class service delivery, operational excellence, and strong executive relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the global Samsung Account service organisation
• Ensure world-class service delivery and operational performance, including safety, quality, system uptime, MTTR/MTBF, installation cycle, and productivity
• Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with Samsung’s R&D and Manufacturing organisations globally
• Develop service managers and technical leaders; manage talent pipelines and succession planning
• Own service & spares revenue forecast accuracy and P&L performance for the Samsung account
• Anticipate workforce needs aligned with Samsung’s technology roadmap and investment cycles
• Drive strategic initiatives to strengthen the company’s position—market share, margin, and customer satisfaction
• Align regional service teams with a consistent global standard and manage escalations across all sites
• Influence internal senior leaders through clear, data-driven communication

Requirements:

• More than 15 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment service or technical operations
• More than 10 years in senior leadership roles managing large, diverse, and multi-regional teams
• Strong experience with Tier-1 global customer management (Samsung, TSMC, Intel, Micron)
• Deep technical understanding of ALD/PEALD, thin-film, metals, or diffusion systems
• Proven success in P&L ownership, KPI delivery, and service operations management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence customers and executives
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally
• Fluent level Korean and English
  

Preferred Requirements:

• MBA or equivalent business leadership education
• Direct experience supporting Samsung Foundry, Memory, or Display
• Prior leadership over 100+ engineers in a global structure
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, tech transfer, or NPI ramps
