[호텔/지배인] Hotel Manager(부총지배인/5성급)
A Hotel Manager role is now open in a global hospitality company. The chosen applicant will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational performance of the hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management for all operational hotel personnel, ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of guests and employees
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day hotel operations, conduct regular staff meetings and hotel tours, note deficiencies and ensure corrective actions
- Monitor daily revenue, labour reports, and monthly profit and loss statements, analyse results, and take action when necessary
- Control capital expenditures and ensure timely completion of projects
- Conduct weekly Operations meetings to address challenges, improve communication, and control expenses
- Develop and implement profit improvement ideas, policies, and procedures with General Manager approval
- Respond to hotel emergencies or safety situations and comply with local codes
- Ensure facilities are well-maintained and actively participate in operational committees such as Safety, Energy Conservation, and Recycling
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs such as the “Perfect Room” initiative
- Ensure hotel areas are appropriately staffed, and staff are trained, professional, and polite
- Monitor and enforce hotel standards consistently
- Conduct or participate in performance reviews and develop assigned managers as mentees
- Assume authority of General Manager in their absence and act as hotel spokesperson during emergencies
- Coordinate accurate forecasts with Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, Rooms, and Engineering
- Personally meet and interact with guests, review guest comments, and follow up on service issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in hospitality management, business, or similar
- More than 3 years of experience in hotel operations or management within a multicultural setting
- More than 2 years of experience leading and managing large teams
- Familiarity with working in Asian cultures and understanding of Korean business culture
- Strong commercial acumen, leadership, and team management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire team members
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good problem-solving abilities and financial acumen
- Track record in driving service excellence and guest experience (Rooms background is ideal)
- Commitment to employee training, learning, and development, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficient in Korean
