[NGO/연구] Petrochemical Climate Solutions Manager

A non-profit organisation is looking for a Petrochemical Climate Solutions Manager. The chosen candidate will be in charge of researching and implementing measures for reducing greenhouse gas emissions within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive research on measures for the industry’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction
• Engage actively with government, industry and other stakeholders to align with the company's goals
• Provide support to campaigns aimed at raising public awareness on GHG reduction and combating the climate crisis
• Communicate effectively and build solidarity with domestic and international climate organisations
• Offer support in organising company events, including seminars

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in energy or chemical industry is preferred
• 5-10 years of professional or research experience
• Understanding of GHG emissions, industrial decarbonisation, climate change, environment, and energy issues
• Experience in writing policy proposals and reports or research articles is a plus
• Advocacy experience in research institutes, think tanks, and civil society is desirable
• Fluent level written and verbal Korean and English
